Hello and Welcome!
My name is Junaid Jawed Khan and I'm a Simon Fraser University Alumni, completed my Bachelor Of Applied Sciences in
Mechatronic Systems
Engineering in 2021.
I completed my degree with practical exposure to hardware,
software, and firmware engineering. My experiences with
tackling challenging projects informs my mindful but competitive
approach towards engineering solutions. I consider myself a 'forever student';
eager to build on my academic foundations in hardware, software and firmware development
and stay in tune with the latest developments in the embedded world through continued
self-directed projects.
Currently, I'm working as an Embeded Software Developer for Pacific Design Engineering , an engineering design firm in British Columbia, Canada. Outside of my full-time work obligations, I volunteer as an advisor on SFU's Formula SAE Design team, Team Phantom. I assist the Controls subteam of Team Phantom in bringing forward firmware solutions for the Vehicle Control Unit. Here is the link to the team's firmware repository.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball, working out and playing billiards. I also enjoy reading up on new technologies, programming languages and communication protocols.
I use my website to summarize the projects that I've worked on. I try my best to keep it updated but it requires a significant amount of time and dedication to summarize key take-aways from projects that I've worked on for weeks/months - I'll try my best to keep it updated! With that said, I hope you find what you came here for. If not, I'm always an email away for any assistance.
